Rules For Submissions To Devotionals
Background:
We know our church
family are active followers of Christ and their lives continue to
be touched by our Lord. The "Devotionals" web page has been
designed for our members that want to share what the Lord is doing
in their lives with others. By sharing these small stories we will
be able to share God's love and encourage one another.
Submissions: Who & What
We can only accept
submissions from members of Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello,
Illinois. Submissions must be 300 words or less, typed or hand
written. These submissions must include a scripture reference that
the story relates to. Keep in mind that if you include the passage
of scripture within the text then it will count toward the 300 word
limit. So, we recommend just referencing the related scripture.
Submissions: How & Where
We will accept
submissions sent to us by any method; brought in; mailed in; emailed
in; etc. If submitted by mail, these submissions cannot be returned
by mail unless you include a stamped, self-address envelope.
Submissions: Legal Stuff
Submissions to the
"Devotionals" become the property of Calvary Baptist Church of
Monticello, Illinois. Those submitting these stories agree to allow
us to use their name. Calvary Baptist Church reserves that right to
refuse a story and we reserve the right to modify stories that are
submitted for clarity. Calvary Baptist Church does not purchase
stories for the "Devotionals" so no one submitting a story will
be paid. We pray that they will recieve many blessings from our Lord
for their submission. We cannot notify those submitting their stories
of when their story will be available on the web site. We encourage
those submitting their stories to check the "Devotionals" often.
