CHRISTMAS AND GIVING!

Every Christmas season the spirit of giving is talked about and preached on. We mainly center on the great gift God gave us in His Son Christ Jesus and rightly so. But let me encourage us all to remember how important it is for us to be involved in giving as well. Let’s look beyond the “normal” giving practices of most people this time of year and see how we might truly be “giving.” Please make not of the following and ask God how you might incorporate these ideas in your life this Christmas season and all year long!

The Most Important Things You Can Give On Christmas

·        Your Time – Volunteer to help those less fortunate.

·        Your Money – Donate money to your favorite charities.

·        Your Love – It’s the thought that counts.

·        Your Life – Jesus was born that you might be saved.

·        Your Lord – Share Jesus with your family and friends.

For god so loved the world that He gave –

His Word

so that we might know truth…

A Gate

so that we might enter His Kingdom…

The Light of the World

so that we no longer walk

in darkness and despair…

The Bread of life…

to feed our hungry souls…

The Living Water

to refresh and empower us…

The Resurrection and the Life

so that we could live eternally with Him.
