Children's ministry
Calvary Kids’ Ministries seeks to come alongside parents to introduce kids to the truths of the Bible in a fun, safe, and meaningful way. Jesus loves kids and so do we; so we work to provide quality programming Sunday morning, Wednesday night and through special events throughout the year for kids of all ages.
Sunday Morning
On Sunday morning we use the curriculum, The Gospel Project, from Lifeway. Our lessons chronologically explore the whole Bible while continuously pointing kids back to the truths of the gospel. We offer Sunday School at 9:30 and children’s church for younger kids during the 10:45 morning worship service. We also work to include kids as part of the morning worship service through a special Kids’ Talk time.
Wednesday night
On Wednesday nights we utilize a high-energy, media-rich program also from Lifeway Publishers called Hyfi. Using media, games, crafts, and Bible memory, Hyfi explores the truths of who we are in Christ presenting a new truth every month.
We work to integrate our Sunday morning and Wednesday programs by encouraging our kids to memorize scripture and important truths of the faith each month and providing fun incentives for completing these Cornerstone Concepts. Throughout the year we provide fellowship and fun for families through our fall carnival, holiday events, and service opportunities.
For all of our programs a computerized check-in program helps us ensure your child’s safety for all our weekly programs. We love visitors and would love to have you come check us out.
